  • RIP Buster

To those of you racing NSS, a common site at the track over the last 13 years has been a huge Chocolate Lab riding around on a golf cart, or hanging out in the pits. If you've cooked in the pits, you most likely got a visit from Buster, as he was a country dog who never knew a leash.
It is of heavy heart that I informed you that Buster met his maker yesterday, and is hopefully chasing squirrels in the promised land.
He was my best friend, and as an old man who has gad dozens of great dogs, he was the best of them all. He will be missed.

He was a great dog, never on a leash. At the track he'd sit on the golf cart and wait for me to come back from a pass - even if there was an oil down and two hour wait. He was well known at the track rididingg around with me on the cart - or in the car to tech in.
